orchidThank you for your interest in Orchid’s Jamaican American Restaurant. We first opened our doors in 2009 on Altamont Ave and have recently opened a new restaurant location at 1113 State Street in Schenectady, NY.

Our restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days per week. We also cater event and private parties at our restaurant location and We offer a mix of authentic Jamaican cuisine and Southern American Soul food.
Orchid is the pet name of Rosemarie Coleman given to her by her grandmother. Rosemarie was born and raised in Trench town Kingston, Jamaica. She learned to cook during her formative years and cooking became her passion. Rosemarie’s father Lascelles Perkins is a well known Reggae singer. +Orchid’s will provide fine dining serving authentic Jamiacan cuisine, Caribbean style foods and classic Southern American cooking, (Soul Food), prepared daily with all fresh ingredients. Orchids Jamaican American Restaurant will be open Tuesday to Sunday.

Cucumber Juice
